Pioneer Sirius XMp3 Satellite Radio
Pioneer has teamed up with SIRIUS XM Radio to develop and launch the XMp3 'wearable' satellite radio and MP3 player.
Claimed to be the lightest and most compact wearable live satellite radio, it is the first to offer simultaneous multi-channel recording.
Using a MicroSD card upon which to store its media, it can record up to ten hours of individual songs from its live music channels, with listeners able to schedule up to five channels for simultaneous recording up to a maximum of 75 hours of content.
Also included are a programme guide, buffering to enable pausing, auto-record function and the XM2go Music Manager software for organising MP3 files. Complete with a good-sized screen, the XMp3 weighs a feathery 3.1oz and is available - you guessed it - in the States for $280.
