Roth Audio has introduced the RothDock, enabling wire-free music streaming from Apple 2G and 3G iPhones and iPods to any hi-fi system.

The RothDock connects to your home hi-fi via a transmitter with a wireless dock for your iPhone or iPod and a remote so you can access and control your tunes.

Range is a claimed 10 metres and if you're using the iPhone, the dock automatically fades the music out and plays your ringtone through the hi-fi should you get a call. A line-in and twin RCA inputs cater for the connections.

The RothDock goes on sale this December in time for Christmas for £99.
