I bet you didn't know exposure to light could also be beneficial for your skin. And in case you knew that, we have an update on that story. This time an U.K. team is wearing OLED stickers that once glued to your skin will cure cancer and acne. That's called photodynamic therapy and usually it's done in hospitals during longer periods of time and under large light sources.

Using OLED patches is both energy effective and patient-friendlier than the alternative. The patient could do it from home once Lumicure, the developer, will release the technology. These OLED patches are supposed to be out on the market by Q4 2009 but we have no pricing for it yet.
