NEC has unveiled a new 'all-rounder' LCD display in the shape of the 24in MultiSync 24WMGX, part of the MultiSync GX series.

This third-gen model sports an A-MVA panel serving up 1920x1200 resolution, dynamic contrast ratio of 2,000:1, 500cd/m2 brightness rating, 6ms response time and 178-degree viewing angle. Connectivity is pretty comprehensive with VGA, HDCP-equipped DVI-D, two HDMI ports, and component and S-Video connectors.

The screen itself has a narrow piano black bezel, with OSD function, headphone hook-up and integrated 5+5W speakers. A fancy stand offers myriad tilting and height to suit the environment it's used in.

Available now, the NEC MultiSync 24WMGX will set you back £565 plus VAT.
