Denon Smart 102
Denon has launched a Special Edition of its Smart 102 home entertainment system.
The new, improved model has better sound quality than its predecessor thanks to inclusive desktop speaker stands, a leaner price tag and added functionality.
A compact CD and DVD player with HD playback via HDMI and 1080p upscaling, the new model includes two speakers and a subwoofer and audiophile ASD-11R iPod dock.
The new speaker stands are so impressive they come with their own moniker, the ASFS-05s. Denon claims they serve a critical performance purpose, adding clarity and depth to the audio and extract the best from surround effects with the Dolby Virtual Speaker feature.
Also incorporating an AM/FM radio, the Smart 102 Special Edition is available in charcoal grey this very month for £700.
