We brought you news last week of LG's new plasma lineup from its London Fashion Week launch, and now it has unveiled its matching LCD range with the LG4000 and Scarlet LG7000 and LG6100 sets. The HD Ready LG4000 adopts the scarlet hued design accent to appeal the they style conscious, yet mixes in an incorporated side mounted, slot loading DVD player, marking it out primarily as a second room 'convenience' option.

Available in 26in and 32in models it features LG's clear voice technology, 8,000:1 and 50,000:1 (respectively) contrast ratios and a trio of v1.3 HDMI ports.

Both sizes are also Energy Savings Trust recommended. Next up, the Scarlet LG7000 is available in 32in, 37in, 42in, 47in and 52in sizes.

Bluetooth certified, users can listen to it remotely and wire free using compatible headphones as well as upload images and the like from Bluetooth enabled devices such as mobile phones.

Full HD Ready, the LG7000 features LG's Intelligent Sensor tech that matches the image's light levels to its surroundings for optimum picture performance while simultaneously meaning the set uses up to 69.5 per cent less power than a bog standard gogglebox. With many of the same features as the LG4000, it also delivers 24p true cinema, 50,000:1 contrast ratio, invisible speaker and quartet of HDMI connectors.

Third in line is the 'super slim' 42in Scarlet LG6100 at 1.7in thick, which follows the LG7000's design cues with red tinted black on/off sensor and round aperture with LED light for a 'truly glamorous glow'.

On board is Intelligent Sensor tech, the invisible speaker system, 1080p TruMotion 100Hz picture processing, 24p TruCinema, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, quartet of HDMIs and USB 2.0 hook up. All the models are on sale in stores now.
