Marantz SR6003

Marantz's new SR6003 home cinema receiver is endowed with high-end features.

Dressed in the latest M1 chassis, whose rigid construction improves performance, it features Audyssey's MultEQ Auto Setup system for wringing the best performance from all seven channels no matter the environment you put it in.

Underneath the bonnet sits the 'sonic-boosting' M-DAX system, with power provided by seven in-line channels each capable of outputting up to 100 watts.

Instantaneous Current Supply Capability means super stable power during high current peaks, so you can go as loud as you want without fear of break-0up.

A front-mounted USB port recognises iTunes tag information and enables control of AAC, MP3, WAV and WMA music files from the bundled RC003SR learning remote control, which is MACRO programmable with up to 120 codes.

On the video side, the i-Chips Technology IP00C773 10-bit video processor enables 1080p upscaling via HDMI 1.3, which also supports Dolby True-HD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

A three-in, two-out HDMI repeater and dual zone capability enhance the SR6003's capabilities still further.

On sale right now, the SR6003 will set you back ten pence less than £700.
