MySpace MP3 Player
Social networking giant and trendsetter to the digital music generation, MySpace has made noises to the tune that it is to release an MP3 player.
After the successful launch of MySpace Music in September of this year, offering music downloads to its millions of subscribers powered by Amazon MP3, MySpace chief exec and co-founder Chris DeWolfe has commented that the site could develop a digital music player.
Speaking at a conference in San Francisco, DeWolfe said, 'it's possible' that MySpace could develop a music-playing device in response to a direct question.
Don't get too trumped up though, as there are no immediate plans to create such a device, with DeWolfe noting that 'right now, we're just focusing on the service'.
Never say never though.
