Mordaunt Short's speaker range has been expanded to incorporate the biggest floorstander yet in the three-way Mezzo 8.

The Mezzo 8 employs a single five-and-three-quarter-inch midrange and two six-and-a-half-inch Continuous Profile Cone (CPC) bass units, making it a true three-way performer. The trio of drivers is designed to integrate seamlessly with MS' Aspirated Tweeter Technology (ATT) via the 25mm aluminium tweeter to deliver a 'detailed but commanding sound', perfect for the serious home cinema enthusiast as well as larger auditoriums.

The midrange is separated in its own enclosure ensuring it deals solely with its allotted bandwidth. The larger speaker enclosure provides powerful lower frequencies. The speaker comes in light oak or dark walnut finishes and is curved to deceive the eye, apparently making it less visually impacting in smaller environments.

Available now, the Mezzo 8 floorstanders retail at £1,200 for a pair.
